JPIC Co-Director

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Chardon, OH

The Sisters of Notre Dame (SND‑USA) are seeking a mission‑driven JPIC Co‑Director to support our Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation initiatives. This role focuses on direct service, volunteer engagement, education, and relationship‑building rooted in Catholic Social Teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead service, volunteer, and immersion programs
  • Create educational materials and presentations on social justice issues
  • Collaborate with SND ministries, community partners, and national organizations
  • Stay informed on emerging justice issues and support SND corporate stance initiatives
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders and oversee volunteer engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree + 3–5 years relevant experience
  • Understanding of Catholic Social Teaching and commitment to the SND mission
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with technology
  • Ability to work with diverse communities

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel 25–30%
  • Ability to supervise volunteers
